Still snowing here!

Really glad I made the decision to not even try to schedule anyone for today! It is still snowing heavily at my house, and the roads are terrible. Seeing a lot of cars slipping and sliding.

In fact, I am starting to doubt that things will be as clear tomorrow as they were supposed to be, so: IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 20th – Please check with me here or by phone or even email if there is still snow on the ground tomorrow! I will not be upset if you re-schedule (even if you are doing it again!) even today!

Have fun in the snow if you can and be careful out there!

Snowmageddon 2012

Well, it’s official – everyone who had an appointment for tomorrow has re-scheduled to another day, due to the expected onslaught of snow.

This means that I will NOT be in tomorrow. I will be safe and warm at home with my family, and I hope everyone else has the opportunity to do the same. Depending on how the weather pans out, I may not be back in until Friday, as reports say now that the snow may not melt on Thursday as originally predicted.

Snowstorm, 2012!

In the event of bad weather, please be aware that it may be safer to stay home than to attempt to keep your haircut appointment!

I always encourage safety first, so please do not attempt to travel in the event of a major snow event as has been predicted! I am aware that some of you are “walking distance” in the neighborhood, but when we last had a major “snow event” in December of 2008, several of my customers slipped and fell and sustained broken bones while walking in the snow. I certainly don’t want that happening to any of you – or to me, as my only way to get to work if we get many inches of snow would be to walk! – so PLEASE CALL AHEAD IN THE EVENT OF HEAVY SNOWFALL OR OTHER TREACHEROUS WEATHER.

If I personally do not feel comfortable making my way to work, I assure you that I WILL call you to re-schedule : )

I will be in Wednesday, December 28th through Friday December 30th this week. I am taking Saturday, December 31st (New Year’s Eve) off for a 4 day weekend with my husband.

I will return to my regular schedule on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012.

All is quiet on the Western front, so I have decided to add another additional day to my  Holiday Weekend.

I will not be in on Thursday, December 22, Friday, December 23rd or Saturday, December 24th.

If I’m not seeing you on Wednesday the 21st, I’ll see you in the last week of December!
